Bubble Show World Records

This year there was a lot of travel for The Highland Joker, both in New Zealand and Internationally.

I flew down to the the charming city of Nelson in the South island, to perform at the Nelson Fringe Festival, where I won the Audience Choice Award! The trophy was shaped a glossy-orange painted Hamburger, which now proudly stands on my office shelf.

After doing another holiday season at Rainbow’s End Theme Park with The Bubble Show, I set off on a tour around the North island of New Zealand. As I love travelling, it has been such a great experience. As part of the tour promotion I appeared on National TVNZ morning talk show, as well being interviewed on several radio stations and newspaper publications, I was loving the opportunity to meet different people, perform at different venues and bring the joy of bubbles through performances and follow-up workshops all over the country.

A Multiple Record Breaker

After performing in 16 locations , I ended up in Wellington where I performed again at the New Zealand Fringe Festival, this time at the BATS Theatre. I then headed out to the UK, where I attended Bubble Daze, this was the largest Bubble artists convention that ever took place, with nearly 100 professional bubble performers from all around the world, participating, it has been wonderful to catch up with some old friends, and meet some people, for the first time in person. During this event I also broke my very first Guinness World Records with bubbles, which ultimately got me featured at the Guinness World Record Book 2020, and a TikTok video of one of my records got 2.5 million views and more than half a million Likes. Over the coming months I broke a couple more Guinness world records with my family, during shows in Scotland and in England.
